About
A subtle blend of art and science, serving a unique perspective on the world around us.

Immense, majestic, untamed or fragile — our world and its scale have always fascinated me

Background
Curious from a young age, I have always enjoyed observing and analyzing the world around me. I naturally developed an interest in science, which led me to pursue engineering studies and then a PhD in computer vision.
It was in 2020, during a 3-month expedition in Greenland, that I developed and refined my passion for photography. Fascinated by the extraordinary scale of the landscapes, I developed an artistic approach centered on natural immensity and the notion of scale.
Since then, I continue to sharpen my eye to capture vast landscapes and the relationship between humans and their environment. I enjoy revisiting the same places in different light and weather conditions, hoping that a spectacle of the elements reveals a unique vision of the location.
Sharing my time between technical and artistic endeavors allows me to invest my energy in the environment in complementary ways. Photography is my means of expression to contribute to awareness and reflection on our relationship with nature.
Philosophy
My work is meant to be contemplative and devoid of any staging. I seek to capture the essence of a place, a moment, without altering it. Although I enjoy regularly getting lost in concrete and steel jungles, my favorite subjects are without a doubt nature and vast wilderness areas.
